It's not just another Friday

Fridays are special to me. It's the weekend. Stress-reliever. And it's "US" day (My boyfriend and I's bonding time!).
Friday is also the time when I finish all the things I've got to - reports, work thingies, etc. And this Friday is a fruitful one. :)

Also, it is April Fools' Day! I asked my friend, Fhadz, why it was called April Fools' Day, and he told me this story.

A loooong long time ago, people celebrated New Year on April 1st. But then they changed it. I don't know, some council maybe, and they've decided to celebrate New Year's Day on January 1st instead. But since that was medieval times, and there were no Internet, TV, and social networking sites, news was hard to come by. So the people from the farthest mountains and forests didn't know about the change and they still celebrated New Year's Day on April 1. So the people who knew about the change of dates, these people who now celebrated New Year's on January 1st called the people who celebrated still on April 1st the "April Fools." Hence, April Fools' Day. April 1.

Oh I've filed an online application for passport renewal.
